Hubert Biramahire
PROGRAMS AND OPERATIONS OFFICER
Hubert Biramahire is a passionate healthcare management professional with experience in program coordination, youth mentorship, and health-focused community initiatives. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
He currently serves as Programs and Operations Officer at the Geraldine Trada Foundation, where he supports initiatives that empower young people living with diabetes and strengthens organizational impact through program delivery and operational management.
Hubert is also the Founder and Managing Director of Bright Circle Ltd, a social enterprise that leverages social media for diabetes awareness, talent development, education (communication, technology, and self-care), and advocacy. In this role, he leads program planning, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative projects that bridge health and education for greater social impact.
He also engaged with the Rwanda Diabetes Association, where be served as a camp counsellor and volunteer at multiple Type 1 Diabetes Youth Camps, where he provides guidance, mentorship, and self-management support to young people living with diabetes. He has also contributed to national non-communicable disease (NCD) screening campaigns.
His vision is deeply rooted in seeing continuous positive improvement in diabetes care, a commitment that is personal—having lived with Type 1 diabetes since 2016.
